1) You may be wondering, what is this thing?

Black Crown Prince, or as my non-furry friends humorously call it, "the war of the galactic space belly-dancers", is an independent project.

it currently exists as a comic, but in the future I would like to develop it into animations or short films. If life and budget allow, of course.

2) What exactly are Gelodians?

Well, in general, they are an original species that I created when I was 10 years old, after merging creatures and things that I liked.

After making modifications to the original base of these creatures, which were originally a reptilian species from a desert planet, as I grew up and tried to overcome my phobia of bees, I catalogued and subdivided them into different branches, roles, and variants. As if they were bees. Today, they are mammalian creatures with canine, reptilian, and leporine features, with a humanoid appearance. In other words, yes... they are hybrid furries. What a great summary.

3) Where did you get your inspiration for this?

From many things. Before Black Crown Prince, I made several attempts to create something, attempts I'm not very proud of, but I guess that's how the creative process is without a compass.

I've been working to distance myself from my main source of science fiction, which is Halo. But I've also taken influences from Starship Troopers, Star Wars, Warhammer 40k, Game of Thrones, the Souls saga... and I could go on, but there would be too many names.

4) Who or what inspired you to do this?

Honestly, it already existed, I just didn't know what to do with it. It all started with some jokes during Discord calls with friends about my OCs. Nothing like what they are now.

At some point, my friends and I were joking about one of my OCs, Scarlett, saying she was ‘the evil fat lady, the queen of pregnant furries, the devourer of resources’ or her children, whom a friend nicknamed trapsukitos ‘because they are deadly traps for humans’ but cute at the same time. And one fine day, it just happened. Hey, what if something this absurd existed in ‘a real context’?

And I said, if there are exaggerated and ridiculous things out there... why couldn't this exist?

After watching the Flashgitz shorts parodying certain super soldiers and finishing Centaurworld, I said, ‘All right, I'm going to try again.’ And after the COVID pandemic, when I was working as a co-project director in the video game area, the first draft was born, and I published it. A year and a half later, I refined most of the elements in a single night. - Okay. Here we go.

Hello creator! If you want to forge your own OCs and bring your stories to life, there's only one thing we ask of you! Respect the foundations of the canon of the world you've created. Other than that, simply respect the foundations of the creatures and general rules. At the end of the day, your vision and interpretation are your own!

Do you want to create a high-society Decoluxis, a rebellious and free Biatencambis, or perhaps one loyal to the Crown and the royal bloodline, a mercenary Badblood, or even a Lumen who lives every day with a bullet lodged in their skull, just waiting for the door to finally open?
